Dr. Surya S. Durbha is Co-Founder and Scientific Advisor at SenseQube Technologies Pvt. Ltd., where he provides strategic direction in research, system architecture, and scientific validation of sensor-driven agricultural intelligence platforms.
He is currently Professor and Head of the Centre of Studies in Resources Engineering (CSRE) at IIT Bombay. With over 25 years of academic, research, and professional experience across India and the United States, his work spans geospatial intelligence, Internet of Things (IoT), remote sensing, scalable geospatial analytics, and AI-driven environmental systems.
Dr. Durbha has also contributed to patented sensing and monitoring systems, including precision agriculture and AI-based infrastructure monitoring technologies.
At SenseQube, he leads:
- Research & scientific validation frameworks
- Sensor system architecture design principles
- Geospatial and semantic data integration strategies
- AI and scalable analytics methodologies
- Technical mentoring and academic-industry collaboration
Through his academic leadership and research expertise, he ensures that SenseQube’s platforms are scientifically rigorous, scalable, and aligned with global standards in geospatial and sensing technologies.

Naimish Patidar

Naimish Patidar is the Co-Founder and CEO of SenseQube Technologies Pvt. Ltd., where he leads product development, field validation, and commercialization of sensor-driven agricultural intelligence systems.
During his M.Tech at IIT Bombay, his work focused on IoT-based sensing systems, geospatial data analysis, GIS platforms, and applied machine learning for environmental and agricultural applications.
With over eight years of hands-on agricultural experience, Naimish brings a practical, field-oriented perspective to technology development. Born and raised in a farming family in Madhya Pradesh, he has direct experience with crop cycles, irrigation practices, soil management, and post-harvest handling challenges.
At SenseQube, he leads:
- Embedded systems and hardware architecture
- Multi-sensor integration (vision, spectral, thermal, and environmental sensors)
- Data acquisition and analytics pipelines
- Field testing, calibration, and validation
- Product deployment across real agricultural environments
SenseQube Technologies is incubated at SINE, IIT Bombay, where he works to translate applied research into deployable, field-ready AgriTech systems.
